RailWorks, a leading rail transportation enterprise, offers an internship for full‑time college or university students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, electrical, or project management engineering related to rail construction and maintenance. The 12‑ to 16‑week program provides hands‑on experience working with engineers, reviewing drawings, charts, and construction terminology, and contributing to railroad, industrial, and rail‑transit projects across North America. • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with all organizational levels. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. • Read, understand, and adhere to RailWorks’ values. • Willingness and ability to perform physical labor when required. • Work independently and collaboratively as a team member. • Multi‑task and prioritize amid continuously changing tasks and projects. • Enroll as a full‑time college/university student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline focused on railroad/construction/maintenance. • Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
