About the Role

The role is responsible for specialized distribution centre tasks such as order picking, receiving, shipping, and returns, with the possibility of handling generalized duties in other departments. Core activities include sorting, picking, stocking, staging, loading and unloading materials from racks, shelves, or vehicles, and stacking boxes, ladders, and pallets of construction materials. The associate also maintains a clean work area, follows safety policies, and performs other assigned duties. Work is performed under close supervision, selecting correct processes from predefined rules and seeking guidance for non‑routine issues. Decisions are reviewed by a senior coworker or supervisor, and latitude for independent judgment is limited. • Perform order picking, receiving, shipping, and returns in the distribution centre. • Sort, pick, stock, and stage materials for shipment. • Load and unload items from racks, shelves, and vehicles. • Stack boxes, ladders, and pallets of construction materials safely. • Maintain a clean and organized work area. • Follow and promote company safety policies. • Operate under close supervision with limited independent judgment.

What You Bring

The work environment is generally comfortable but includes exposure to dust, fumes, or odors and requires intermittent physical exertion such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting heavy (50+ lb) or awkward items. Overnight travel is minimal, typically less than 5% of the time. Education and experience requirements include a high school diploma or GED (strongly preferred) and 0–2 years of relevant experience, with at least 6 months of related work preferred. • Work in a physically demanding environment, lifting up to 50+ lb. • Requirement: High school diploma or GED; 0–2 years of relevant experience (6 months preferred).
