About the Role

• Lead and develop a team of 30‑40 employees on the 2nd shift. • Deliver products and services on schedule, within cost, quality and responsiveness targets. • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environment policies. • Interpret and apply technical and legislative requirements for the unit. • Utilize standard tools, KPIs and Rolls‑Royce production systems to meet production and continuous‑improvement goals. • Maintain accurate work‑center, capacity and queue data in the ERP system. • Prepare, monitor and control departmental budget elements (headcount, productivity, overtime, absenteeism). • Train, supervise and develop staff using company development frameworks (Leatro, professional development). • Foster a continuous‑improvement culture by sharing best practices internally and externally. • Coordinate machine‑tool and tool maintenance to optimise manufacturing asset performance. • Drive employee‑engagement activities within the area.

What You Bring

• Fluency in French and English (written and spoken). • Minimum 5 years’ experience leading teams, preferably in a unionized manufacturing environment. • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent; technical diploma or degree is an asset. • Proven knowledge of production, supply‑chain planning and control. • Demonstrated ability to implement rapid change and deliver improved manufacturing performance. • Experience leading transformation projects and applying Six Sigma/Lean methodologies (Green/Black Belt preferred). • Canadian citizenship or permanent residency. • Obtain RRPS Leadership Accreditation within the first 12 months. • Preferred: experience in high‑tech engineering or manufacturing operations. • Preferred: ability to understand company‑wide challenges and culture from a strategic perspective.
