About the Role
You will coordinate with project and tendering teams, commissioning, SCM, civil/steel design, consultants, and customers to drive technical solutions, assess risks and opportunities, and propose mitigation strategies. The role also involves presenting technical aspects at meetings, interacting with customers, contractors, and suppliers, sharing best practices across projects, and obtaining approval for engineering discipline costs from the Business Unit Head. • Lead engineering for FACTS projects and tenders of varying complexity. • Coordinate with system, mechanical, electrical, control, commissioning, SCM, civil/steel design, consultants, and customers. • Develop cost‑effective technical solutions that meet contract specifications and quality standards. • Assess risks and opportunities, devise mitigation strategies, and present technical aspects in meetings. • Interact with customers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure alignment and satisfaction. • Share best practices across projects and obtain approval for engineering discipline costs. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, contractual requirements, and internal/external standards.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in an engineering discipline such as system, primary/mechanical, secondary/electrical, or control engineering, and possesses 8‑10 years of experience in medium to high voltage power‑system projects. Knowledge of power‑system equipment, international standards (IEEE/IEC/GIGRE), and strong interpersonal, presentation, and English communication skills are required. • Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in an engineering discipline with 8‑10 years of relevant experience. • Experience with medium to high voltage power‑system projects and knowledge of relevant equipment and international standards. • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, presentation, and English communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
