About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Facility Manager, the incumbent will lead and develop the on‑site maintenance team and serve as the primary contact for maintenance delivery. Responsibilities include managing essential services compliance, overseeing planned, preventative, reactive and corrective maintenance, and coordinating first‑response actions for critical faults. The manager will also direct subcontractors, manage materials, and ensure all services operate within contractual, statutory, and legislative requirements. • Lead and develop the on‑site maintenance team. • Act as primary point of contact for maintenance delivery and critical fault response. • Manage compliance for essential services, including planned, preventative, reactive, and corrective maintenance. • Coordinate subcontractors and materials to ensure timely, compliant service delivery. • Oversee quality assurance and HSSEQ compliance across all facility operations. • Deliver minor works and lifecycle replacement programs. • Manage stakeholder relationships and operational communications. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and cost‑efficiency measures. • Achieve all contractual KPIs and zero‑abatement outcomes. • Provide timely and accurate reporting on performance and compliance. • Reduce operating costs while maintaining service quality and budget parameters. • Maintain high levels of stakeholder satisfaction. • Collaborate with contract and support teams, senior facility manager, contract manager, facility coordinator, performance & reporting manager, and asset/project managers. • Apply analytical and problem‑solving abilities to drive improvements.

What You Bring
The role requires strong leadership, proactive problem‑solving, and excellent communication skills. A high attention to detail, safety‑first mindset, and flexibility in a fast‑paced environment are essential. Analytical ability and the capacity to drive continuous improvement and cost efficiencies are also expected. Desired experience includes prior management of PPP and/or healthcare facilities, a recognised facility‑management qualification, and an electrical or mechanical trade background. Candidates should demonstrate finance and budgeting competence, experience with CMMS systems, and knowledge of maintenance engineering, asset lifecycle, and building regulations. Strong understanding of statutory and engineering standards is required. • Demonstrate strong leadership, proactive problem‑solving, and excellent communication skills. • Exhibit high attention to detail, safety mindset, and flexibility in a fast‑paced environment. • Possess PPP or healthcare facilities management experience (highly desirable). • Hold a facility‑management qualification and/or electrical/mechanical trade background. • Show sound finance and budgeting capability and experience with CMMS systems. • Knowledge of maintenance engineering techniques, asset lifecycle management, building construction, statutory regulations, and engineering standards.
