About the Role
The Planning Manager will be accountable for overseeing the planning function across projects and tenders, ensuring robust schedules, effective monitoring, and seamless integration with project management. The role is designed to deliver medium to high‑complexity portfolios on time and profitably, and is a hybrid position based in London. • Manage application of planning and scheduling methodologies, tools and earned value management. • Provide expert project controls advice, influencing complex requirements, analysis and corrective actions. • Lead and develop high‑performing planning teams delivering schedule management services. • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to deliver profitable outcomes and net‑zero transition. • Provide strategic leadership for planning delivery across projects, tenders and business areas. • Support negotiations, governance and long‑term functional strategy with integrity and due diligence. • Develop inclusive, high‑performing teams through collaboration, knowledge sharing and client engagement. • Safety first – champion a safe, diverse, inclusive environment and wellbeing. • Create opportunity – foster continuous improvement and inspire people to develop.
