About the Role

This role is responsible for the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work of a building under construction. It requires a sound understanding of how MEP settings impact the construction process. The Project Engineer will ensure that all MEP services are designed, approved, and executed to meet schedule, quality, and safety standards. In the role, the engineer will actively engage in initial MEP design development, assess constructability, and review legal and statutory compliance to secure timely approvals. Coordination with all service design disciplines, ensuring contractors submit and gain approval for shop drawings, and implementing approval conditions on site are key duties. Execution of services work follows drawings, specifications, schedule, and quality requirements, while also providing value‑added vendor and material selection in line with client procurement processes. The engineer is responsible for installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting equipment. They will manage handovers, ensuring all contract deliverables such as manuals, test certificates, and as‑built drawings are received, and will initiate training for the takeover team in collaboration with contractors and consultants. • Develop and assess constructability of MEP designs • Ensure legal compliance and timely design approvals • Coordinate multidisciplinary service designs and approve contractor shop drawings • Oversee on‑site implementation of approvals, execution, and quality control • Select vendors and manage local material procurement per client process • Install, test, and commission electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems • Manage handovers, including documentation, manuals, certificates, and as‑built drawings • Conduct training for takeover teams with contractors and consultants

What You Bring

Candidates should hold a B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical engineering with over ten years of building‑project experience, possess technical awareness of civil, electro‑mechanical, and architectural works, and demonstrate excellent organizational, motivational, detail‑orientation, communication, and interpersonal skills. • B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical engineering with 10+ years building project experience • Strong technical knowledge of civil, electro‑mechanical, and architectural works • Excellent organizational, motivational, and detail‑orientation skills • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
