About the Role

Assist skilled craft workers in performing their assigned duties, work in other crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills as requested by supervision, and take direction from a higher‑skilled worker or foreman. The role requires strict adherence to safety standards, including wearing required personal protective equipment, and may involve physically demanding tasks such as climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working 12‑hour shifts in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions. • Perform accurate math calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide). • Eliminate waste such as waiting, rework, transport, storage, and time. • Ask a supervisor before proceeding if uncertain about work or safety. • Learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work. • Safely operate work‑related tools and equipment. • Identify improvement opportunities in tasks, methods, and learn from others. • Maintain positive relationships with all crew members. • Produce high‑quality work safely and productively. • Ensure availability of materials, tools, equipment, and information. • Occasionally stoop, kneel, or bend. • Use telephone, computer, email, or other electronic devices on a limited basis. • Move in confined, cluttered, and uneven areas. • Comply with all safety standards and procedures. • Frequently use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects. • Climb and maintain balance on steel/wood framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds. • Occasionally lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 lbs.

What You Bring

• Hold NCCER Core Curriculum certification and/or a high school diploma (preferred). • Possess 1‑3+ years experience in industrial/commercial construction (levels I‑III preferred). • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills. • Wear required personal protective equipment (e.g., steel‑toed shoes, hard hat, etc.). • Frequently reach above shoulder height and below waist. • Work up to 12‑hour shifts performing hard physical work in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions.
