About the Role

The senior project manager will plan, execute, monitor, control, and close projects using earned value management principles. Responsibilities include supervising multidisciplinary teams of engineers, technicians, GIS analysts, designers, CAD staff, and sub‑consultants, and ensuring continuity, consistency, and quality of work. The manager will design and review calculations, seal drawings and reports, and mentor junior staff while working independently. Effective communication with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams is essential, as is participation in business development activities such as scope definition, fee preparation, proposal writing, and marketing. • Lead water and sewer distribution, collection system, pump station, and treatment plant projects. • Manage projects using earned value management from planning through closeout. • Supervise multidisciplinary teams of engineers, technicians, GIS analysts, designers, CAD staff, and sub‑consultants. • Review and seal design calculations, drawings, and reports. • Mentor junior staff and work independently. • Communicate effectively with clients, regulatory agencies, and project teams. • Participate in business development: scope definition, fee preparation, proposal writing, and marketing.

What You Bring

Candidates must have eight or more years of water/wastewater engineering and project management experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. A Georgia Professional Engineer license is required, or the ability to obtain it within six months, along with demonstrated proficiency in hydraulics and industry standards. Strong leadership, motivation, quality management, and excellent written and oral communication skills are also required; design‑build experience is preferred. • Require 8+ years of water/wastewater engineering and project management experience. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent). • Possess a Georgia Professional Engineer license or obtain it within six months. • Demonstrate proficiency in hydraulics and industry standards. • Ability to lead, motivate, and ensure high‑quality work. • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Preferred experience in design‑build and collaborative project delivery.
