About the Role

The Senior Project Manager will evaluate RFPs, define requirements and timelines, and coordinate internal and external resources to produce compliant, cost‑competitive proposals. They will lead cross‑functional teams, manage scope integration with supply‑chain and estimating groups, and provide technical and regulatory guidance to meet client expectations while mitigating risk and maximizing profitability. • Review RFPs and coordinate resources for bid/no‑bid decisions. • Define project requirements, deliverables, and timelines for proposals. • Lead cross‑functional teams and ensure clear communication throughout proposal development. • Work with supply‑chain and estimating teams to close scope gaps and avoid overlaps. • Provide technical, regulatory, and design guidance to meet client expectations. • Build and maintain strategic relationships with design partners. • Develop and execute risk‑mitigation and profitability strategies. • Approve basis of estimate, including assumptions, inclusions, exclusions, and qualifications. • Collaborate with legal to assess technical and commercial risks during contract negotiations. • Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and customer drivers. • Support deal structuring and negotiate pricing using business‑value analysis. • Manage responses to BESS‑related RFIs. • Coordinate with commercial excellence and other departments to represent organizational capabilities. • Gather post‑award feedback to share best practices with internal and external partners. • Ensure compliance with internal standards, policies, and procedures.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, engineering or a related field, or possess equivalent experience, and have at least five years of BESS preconstruction experience with an EPC, IPP, developer or utility. The ideal applicant brings utility‑scale BESS expertise, proven cross‑functional leadership, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and solid problem‑solving, analytical, and organizational abilities. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, engineering or related field (or equivalent experience). • Possess at least five years of BESS preconstruction experience with an EPC, IPP, developer or utility. • Demonstrate utility‑scale BESS subject‑matter expertise. • Proven ability to lead and manage cross‑functional teams. • Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills across all organizational levels. • Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, organizational, and time‑management abilities. • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. • Willingness to travel up to 40 % of the time.
