About the Role

• Plan, schedule, coordinate, monitor, and manage all phases of new construction. • Manage construction finances, documentation, fee payments, equipment rentals, and income/expenses to protect company interests and client relationships. • Execute project delivery from initial design through construction. • Review amplified drawings for changes and clarifications. • Conduct project status reviews by monitoring schedule, submittal/RFI logs, and open items. • Maintain effective client communication during preconstruction, including meeting agendas and minutes. • Report project updates directly to the principal. • Assist the estimating team with quantity take‑offs, scopes of work, and bidding processes. • Collaborate across design, preconstruction, and construction disciplines. • Prepare and edit reports and contract specifications under engineer supervision.

What You Bring

• Hold a degree or equivalent in civil engineering, construction management, or project management. • Possess experience in an engineering office environment. • Understand the engineering, procurement, and construction cycle, including sequencing, means, and methods. • Exhibit strong leadership skills. • Have tunneling experience. • Experience with Federal Transit Agency projects. • Familiarity with transit agencies such as PANYNJ, NJT, MTA, LIRR, and Amtrak. • Experience delivering programs or portfolios valued over $1 billion (advantageous).

The estimated starting salary for this role is $140,000–$180,000, varying based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
