About the Role

In this role you will own the enterprise renewables category strategy, define and execute sourcing plans that optimize cost and ensure supply continuity, and provide senior‑level leadership to a team of Category Managers. You will partner with executive leadership, operations, finance, and project teams to align sourcing with demand forecasts and long‑range business objectives, while managing supplier relationships, performance, risk, and governance. Market intelligence and analytics will be used to navigate pricing volatility, geopolitical risk, and capacity constraints, and you will represent the sourcing function in executive forums. • Lead enterprise renewables category strategy for wind, solar, and BESS projects. • Define and execute sourcing plans for critical materials to optimize cost and ensure supply continuity. • Provide senior leadership to Category Managers, developing talent and driving performance. • Align sourcing plans with demand forecasts, capital programs, and long‑range business objectives. • Manage strategic supplier relationships, performance, risk, and governance. • Leverage market intelligence to mitigate pricing volatility, geopolitical risk, and capacity constraints. • Represent the sourcing function in executive forums and enterprise planning.

The ideal candidate brings more than ten years of strategic sourcing or category management experience in complex, capital‑intensive environments, with a proven record of leading teams and delivering enterprise‑wide sourcing strategies for wind, solar, and BESS EPC projects. Strong negotiation skills, commercial and financial acumen, and the ability to influence senior cross‑functional stakeholders are essential. A bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance, electrical engineering, or a related field is required; APICS/CPSM or similar certification is preferred. • Minimum 10 years of strategic sourcing/category management experience in capital‑intensive environments. • Proven experience sourcing wind, solar, and BESS EPC project materials such as racking, steel, inverters, transformers, and cables. • Strong negotiation, commercial, and financial acumen. • Ability to influence senior cross‑functional stakeholders and translate strategy into execution. • Highly analytical, data‑driven decision making. • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Electrical Engineering, or related field; APICS/CPSM preferred.
