About the Role
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of equipment. • Diagnose problems, test and adjust, and replace or repair parts such as industrial saws, overhead cranes, welders, paint and wash equipment, CNC mills, hand/power/pneumatic tools, drill presses, and loading docks. • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to conduct maintenance and service. • Monitor, maintain, and document preventive maintenance of equipment. • Perform emergency fixes and repairs as needed.

What You Bring
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; candidates must demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. The company’s commitment to a drug‑free workplace further reinforces its focus on a secure work environment. • One year industrial maintenance experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. • Basic knowledge of machining, welding, and equipment fabrication. • Experience using hand, power, pneumatic, and fabrication tools, plus measuring devices such as tape measures, calipers, and ohm meters. • Ability to read and interpret reports, work instructions, schematics, and blueprints. • Self‑driven with ability to work with little supervision. • Physical ability to stand, squat, kneel, and occasionally climb stairs or ladders. • Experience with AC/DC drives (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens). • Additional industrial maintenance experience.
