AECOM’s Enterprise Capabilities team is looking for an Associate Director • Transport Planning to join our team in Gurugram. Enterprise Capabilities (EC) is AECOM’s primary vehicle for workshare, fundamental to our Think and Act Globally strategy and digital adoption. The role requires strong hands‑on experience with strategic and operational modelling software such as Saturn, Vissim, Visum, SYNCHRO, Sydra and others, and the ability to develop, nurture, and grow delivery capacity to ensure adequate resourcing and timely delivery of pipeline opportunities. The associate director will manage team performance, motivate staff to achieve exceptional outcomes, recruit and train resources for regional needs, and provide mentorship to develop skills. Responsibilities also include developing and evaluating alternative conceptual designs, consolidating stakeholder inputs, collaborating with management on project pursuits, and establishing relationships with clients, industry associations, and potential consultant team members. • Hold a Master of Engineering in Transportation Engineering or a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering with relevant transportation planning/modelling experience. • Possess 13‑14+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in a global design consultancy. • Have prior experience leading transport planning teams in an international design consultancy. • Experience working on international projects in regions such as UK&I, ME, USA, ANZ, etc. • Demonstrate hands‑on expertise with strategic and operational modelling software (e.g., Saturn, Vissim, Visum, SYNCHRO, Sydra).
