About the Role

Core duties include coordinating design, procurement, and installation activities, validating hardware and system performance, diagnosing communication issues, conducting quality and safety audits, and maintaining overall system functionality and remote connectivity. Occasionally, the engineer may re‑commission devices, assist with material procurement, keep installation tracking sheets up to date, and create or deliver customized customer training materials. • Align design engineer work with the latest conformed construction documents before installation. • Modify and update design drawings; maintain red‑line documents. • Collaborate with project manager and procurement to monitor purchasing activity and budget risks. • Ensure timely delivery of materials to the site or subcontractors. • Validate that hardware and installations meet design requirements. • Participate in field quality control and safety audits, reviewing analysis and results. • Coordinate on‑site contractors for equipment installation based on shop drawings. • Act as primary point of contact for subcontractors during the installation phase. • Independently address and resolve issues that arise during installation. • Work with the Project Manager to coordinate projects through installation and provide feedback on manpower requirements. • Contribute to the service turnover process and overall system performance. • Set up external ISP connections and enable remote connectivity to customer sites. • Re‑commission devices, equipment, and software as required. • Assist the Project Manager with material procurement. • Keep installation tracking sheets updated regularly. • Prepare customer‑training manuals and deliver customized training sessions.
