About the Role
A CNC Programmer employed at Veritas Steel's Eau Claire location is responsible for CNC programming across multiple facilities. They will plan, organize, coordinate, and execute activities related to bridge fabrication projects according to established procedures. • Program all CNC operations and manage DXF files from import to output. • Provide technical direction, support, and troubleshooting to CNC operators, adjusting programming as needed. • Support the Production Scheduler and Material Coordinator and coordinate release of production tracking documents, CNC drill programs, and cut lists. • Maintain job‑specific files and manage Fabsuite data, ensuring accuracy, linking piece marks to raw material, and generating shop floor cut lists. • Participate in project planning and weekly meetings, establishing operation sequences from project notification to shipment. • Execute schedules with urgency while prioritizing safety, quality, timeliness, and cost.

What You Bring
The role involves exposure to dirt, dust, paint fumes, noise, moving equipment, heavy steel, and other hazardous conditions on the production floor, requiring safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel-toed boots. • Advanced blueprint reading and computer‑based modeling/programming (AutoCAD, CAD/CAM); preferred experience with Prime Cut. • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and hold formal CAD, CAM, and CNC training. • Strong organizational, recordkeeping, and communication skills; 3+ years manufacturing experience preferred.
