About the Role

This skilled position involves installing, programming, troubleshooting, configuring, commissioning, and servicing fire alarm, access control, and CCTV systems at customer sites. Responsibilities include panel repair/reprogramming, device replacement, low‑voltage circuit resolution, and system testing, as well as organizing technical resources to ensure efficient task execution. You will perform installations and programming on integrated security and fire alarm systems, read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and manuals, and supervise equipment installation to meet contract requirements. The role also requires completing certification courses on internal and external products and submitting all required documentation promptly. • Install, program, troubleshoot, configure, commission, and service fire alarm, access control, and CCTV systems • Perform panel repair/reprogramming and device replacement/repair • Resolve low‑voltage circuit issues and conduct system testing • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications • Supervise and inspect equipment installations to meet contract specifications • Complete certification courses and submit required documentation promptly

What You Bring

Candidates must have 3–5 years of documented experience with low‑voltage electrical systems, including fire/life safety, access control, and CCTV, and a high school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or NICET Level II is preferred. Essential skills include blueprint reading, use of hand tools and testing equipment, ability to lift 50–70 lb, work at heights up to 40 ft, flexible scheduling, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a Louisiana fire license within 90 days. • 3–5 years experience with low‑voltage electrical, fire/life safety, access control, and CCTV systems • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or NICET Level II preferred • Proficiency with hand tools, multimeter, and digital analyzer • Ability to lift 50–70 lb and work at heights up to 40 ft • Valid driver’s license, pass background/drug test, obtain Louisiana fire license within 90 days • Basic networking knowledge; NICET Level II preferred
