About the Role
In this position you will deliver arboricultural services by conducting tree surveys, preparing reports and method statements, and providing technical advice to internal and client teams. You will work both independently and collaboratively with other environmental professionals, and you will monitor and supervise sites to ensure planning conditions are met. • Conduct tree surveys for planning and condition assessment. • Prepare arboricultural reports, impact assessments and method statements in line with BS5837:2012. • Produce Tree Condition Reports and deliver technical advice to internal and external stakeholders. • Collaborate with arboricultural and environmental professionals to deliver services. • Perform site monitoring and supervision to satisfy planning conditions. • Maintain a full clean UK driving licence for remote site travel.

What You Bring
The role requires a solid understanding of arboricultural standards such as BS5837:2012, BS8545:2014 and BS3998:2010, competency in tree identification and condition assessment, and a Technicians Certificate in Arboriculture (or equivalent Level 3/4 qualification). A clean UK driving licence is essential for remote site visits, and knowledge of UK legislation and best practice is expected. • Demonstrate strong knowledge of BS5837:2012, BS8545:2014 and BS3998:2010 standards. • Skilled in tree identification, inspection, condition assessment and management recommendations. • Hold a Technicians Certificate in Arboriculture (Level 3/4) or higher qualification. • Understand relevant UK legislation, best practice and policy for arboriculture. • Access AECOM University, technical practice networks and volunteering days.
