About the Role

THIS IS MAINTENANCE. NO PER DIEM. The role involves installation and maintenance of electrical and power systems. • Examine blueprints, sketches, diagrams, building plans and specifications to determine circuit locations • Inspect, select and gather materials and tools to ensure proper operation • Inspect designated work areas for hazards and obstructions • Maintain wiring and control equipment through which electricity flows • Maintain electrical equipment and machines • Maintain, fix, repair and upgrade existing electrical systems and components such as circuit breakers, fuses, switches, wire, motors, transformers, generators and tools • Use hand and power tools such as conduit benders, screwdrivers, pliers, knives, hacksaws, wire strippers, drills and saws • Use testing equipment such as ammeters, ohmmeters, voltmeters and harmonics testers • Observe and comply with all safety and project rules • Follow direction from supervisor

What You Bring

CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR LICENSES REQUIRED. • Minimum of 2 years experience as an Electrical Helper/Apprentice • Able to read and interpret prints, drawings, schematics and plans • Knowledge of industrial electrician hand tools, power tools and layout tools • Able to meet all physical demands and pre‑employment conditions • Reliable transportation and able to work 7 days a week as needed • Able to work at heights, climb ladders, stairways and work off platforms • Adhere to state and local building/electrical codes • Basic knowledge of electrical construction processes • Able to follow instructions correctly • Able to arrive on time and work scheduled hours and overtime as needed
