ECS Limited is seeking an experienced leader to manage our construction materials testing group in our Fort Wayne office. As the Construction Materials Department Manager, you will oversee Construction Materials Testing (CMT) operations, field and laboratory technicians, project deliverables, quality control, and contribute to business growth. The ideal candidate has 6‑8+ years of engineering experience, including laboratory testing, construction observation, field quality‑assurance testing, site grading, and supervision of construction materials testing. They possess excellent communication, leadership, and project‑management skills, strong technical knowledge of testing procedures and specifications, and experience with budgets, forecasts, and financial management. A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET‑accredited college or university is required; a Master’s degree is preferred. • 6‑8+ years of engineering experience, including lab testing, construction observation, field QA, site grading, and supervising material testing. • Excellent communication, leadership, and project‑management abilities. • Strong technical knowledge of testing procedures and specifications. • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial management. • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET‑accredited institution (Master’s preferred).
