About the Role

The AI Solutioning Consultant role invites experienced AI enthusiasts to join Baker Hughes' innovative AI team, focusing on industrial AI at scale. The consultant owns strategy, design, and delivery of advanced automation and AI‑driven solutions that transform business processes. The role sits at the intersection of technology, strategy, and innovation, partnering closely with business leaders to identify high‑impact opportunities and bring ideas to life. In addition to solution delivery, the consultant co‑leads an enterprise‑wide enablement program that raises digital and AI literacy across the organization. This includes teaching employees how to design AI‑centric solutions and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. • Identify high‑value automation and AI opportunities with business units. • Assess processes and pain points to recommend optimal AI or agentic solutions. • Translate business problems into AI‑centric solution architectures. • Design conceptual AI solutions, including agentic frameworks, workflow automations, integrations, and UI/UX. • Evaluate options across low‑code/no‑code tools, enterprise AI platforms, integration layers, and data sources. • Build prototypes, demos, and reference architectures to illustrate possibilities. • Ensure designs meet enterprise security, compliance, data‑governance, and scalability standards. • Lead solution build‑out with engineering, integration, and data teams. • Oversee testing, documentation, and operational rollout readiness. • Recommend enhancements and optimizations based on feedback and performance. • Serve as trusted advisor to executives, clarifying complex AI concepts. • Facilitate workshops, ideation sessions, and roadmap planning. • Support product management in defining AI/automation tool capabilities. • Collaborate with data, architecture, integration, cybersecurity, and product teams for alignment. • Work with change management and training to drive adoption.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, Business, IS or related field. • 7–10+ years in solution engineering, automation, consulting, AI product development or digital transformation. • Proven experience architecting AI, automation, low‑code/no‑code and integration solutions. • Strong ability to engage technical and business stakeholders and translate requirements. • Track record evaluating processes and designing scalable technology improvements. • Excellent communication, consulting and facilitation skills. • Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, UiPath, Gemini/Vertex or similar AI/automation platforms. • Background in Lean, Six Sigma or digital transformation. • Knowledge of data governance, responsible AI and enterprise security. • Experience developing training or upskilling programs. • Strategic thinking combined with hands‑on solution engineering. • Curiosity for emerging AI technologies and trends. • Ability to influence and collaborate in matrixed environments.
