About the Role

Prepare and execute reliability tests, process data to identify issues, and lead teams in implementing improvements. Direct the design of reliability metrics and standards for continuous product improvement. The role ensures completion of product qualification test plans, including functional, reliability, and durability testing, and conducts production reliability tests to anticipate failures. It evaluates product performance and failure trends, determines reliability requirements, and works with design teams to meet specifications. The incumbent collaborates with engineering to develop and improve durability test methodologies, supports root cause analysis, and provides reliability findings and design recommendations during design reviews. • Execute reliability tests and analyze data to identify issues. • Lead teams in implementing reliability improvements. • Design reliability metrics and standards for continuous product improvement. • Complete product qualification test plans (functional, reliability, durability). • Conduct production reliability testing to anticipate failures. • Evaluate product performance, history, and failure trends to pinpoint component issues. • Define reliability requirements for components and systems to meet company, customer, and regulatory objectives. • Perform reliability analysis and collaborate with design teams to meet specifications. • Develop and improve durability test methodologies to enhance product development efficiency. • Support root cause analysis and resolve issues from testing and field returns. • Provide reliability findings and design recommendations during engineering design reviews. • Review code and engineering standards.

What You Bring

A four-year ABET‑accredited engineering degree or equivalent technical degree is required, along with 2‑4 years of experience in the HVAC industry or a related field. Candidates must possess strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, decision‑making, analytical problem‑solving, multitasking, and organizational abilities, and thrive in fast‑paced team environments. The position is based in an office with periodic visits to the manufacturing facility, which may involve seasonal temperature extremes, dust, and occasional chemical fume exposure. • Hold a four-year ABET‑accredited engineering degree or equivalent technical degree. • Possess 2‑4 years of HVAC industry experience or equivalent. • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, decision‑making, analytical problem‑solving, multitasking, and organizational skills.
