About the Role
Interns will observe information security and IT team members performing monitoring, analysis, and incident response activities, learning to use basic security tools under guidance. They will shadow security reviews, meetings and discussions, assist with simple tasks such as organizing logs, updating documentation, and preparing reports, and learn to read security policies and technical documentation. Interns will also observe vulnerability assessments, maintain basic inventory records, and ask questions to deepen their understanding while following all company security policies. • Observe monitoring, analysis, and incident response activities. • Shadow security reviews, meetings, and discussions. • Assist with organizing security logs, updating documentation, and preparing reports. • Read and interpret security policies, procedures, and technical documentation. • Observe vulnerability assessments, security checks, and troubleshooting activities. • Help maintain inventory and records of user access, assets, and security documentation. • Ask questions and seek feedback to deepen understanding of information security concepts. • Follow company information security policies, guidelines, and confidentiality requirements.
