What You Bring
ZACHRY is seeking an experienced Industrial Multi‑Craft to work for EXXON in Beaumont, Texas. The position is for an Industrial Scaffold Builder who will assist with constructing, dismantling, and repairing wooden and metal scaffolds and related auxiliary structures. No per‑diem is provided. Candidates must meet all required knowledge, skills, and abilities, be willing to support other crafts, satisfy physical demands, adhere to safety regulations, possess the necessary tools, and have reliable transportation. Preferred qualifications include current or former employment with Zachry, NCCER certification for Industrial Journeyman Carpenter, formal technical education, and experience with scaffolding, insulation, and painting. The job requires extensive standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lb, working at heights with fall protection, and wearing mandatory personal protective equipment. A valid driver’s license and TWIC card are also required, and the candidate must pass a background check and medical examinations. • Required PPE: hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, hearing protection, respirator, FRC, gloves, leather work boots. • Must have NCCER Industrial Scaffold Builder certification, a valid driver’s license, and a TWIC card. • Required tools: metal toolbox with lock, leather gloves, 25‑30 ft tape measure, 12" shot saw, tube‑lock scaffold wrench, 7/8" open‑end/box wrench, tool pouch, 22‑26 oz steel claw hammer, torpedo level. • Complete pre‑employment physical, pulmonary function test, and safety/orientation training (Audio, Basic Plus, Fire Watch, Hole Watch, Mask Fit, MVR, site‑specific). • Subject to background check and drug‑free workplace policy.
