Team Lead - Structures
Lead structural design and project delivery across various sectors in WA

About the Role
In this role you will have the flexibility to focus on the technical aspects of structural design or to lead the delivery of complex brownfield and greenfield multi‑discipline projects. You will work with an energetic, high‑performing team and have opportunities to accelerate your career with the right technology and training. • Develop new and repeat business in WA, preparing proposals and bids for projects. • Lead planning, coordinate resources, and manage client relationships to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction. • Provide technical leadership and review QA/QC of project deliverables. • Design reinforced concrete and structural steel structures, including foundations. • Design commercial and industrial buildings and structures. • Support GHD’s Water and Energy Business Groups with structural designs. • Conduct inspections, reporting, and design of retaining structures. • Perform construction monitoring and contract administration. • Utilize structural analysis software for design work.

What You Bring
• Hold a BE Civil/Structural or related qualification. • Possess chartered status or equivalent international recognition. • Be a Registered Building Engineering Practitioner in WA (or eligible). • Bring significant consulting or industry experience in building and/or water sectors. • Demonstrate proven ability in project management, design, and delivery of multidisciplinary infrastructure projects. • Have strong knowledge of Australian building codes and standards. • Be familiar with public and private sector requirements.
