Landfill Laborer

About the Role

The Laborer position at a hauling company, transfer station, recycling center, or landfill involves safely and efficiently performing general labor duties such as yard clean-up, fueling vehicles, basic vehicle operation, and office maintenance. This role supports daily site operations and contributes to overall site safety and efficiency. • Clean up work areas • Clean track‑on‑track equipment • Perform yard work, including mowing and paper pick‑up • Operate site vehicles such as water trucks, pick‑up trucks, sweepers, mowers, and trimming equipment • Maintain and repair the office, including painting and janitorial tasks • Install temporary wind fences as needed • Direct site traffic when required

This is a union position with a base pay of $27.59 per hour, plus eligibility for a bonus plan.
