About the Role
Reporting to general supervision, the associate provides data and reporting within assigned areas, performing analysis that supports departmental workflow, customer service, and quality improvement. The role also serves as a liaison with WM drivers, handling incoming service orders, directing drivers, and resolving issues for residential, commercial, and roll‑off lines of business, while interacting with WM customer service, sales, and operational staff. Primary duties include preparing management reports on data summaries, changes, and trends; assisting with special projects and cross‑functional team initiatives; maintaining accuracy and quality of data and reporting output; identifying risk areas when processes change; and recommending continuous‑improvement updates. Additionally, the associate dispatches drivers based on customer needs, driver locations, loads, and daily factors to balance cost and response speed. • Prepare and deliver reports on data summaries, trends, and changes for management. • Support special projects and cross‑functional team efforts as assigned. • Ensure data accuracy and reporting quality across departmental processes. • Identify risks associated with new or modified processes and suggest improvements. • Dispatch drivers using real‑time information to optimize cost and response time. • Communicate with drivers, customers, sales, and operational staff to resolve service issues.

Benefits
The position operates on a regular schedule of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Central Time, Monday through Friday, with the occasional requirement of one to two Saturdays per year following a holiday. Physical demands are minimal, as the job is performed primarily in a home‑office setting with standard equipment such as computers and phones.
