About the Role
The Commercial Painter is responsible for maintaining building aesthetics by keeping office walls presentable with fresh paint, including cleanroom spaces, and assisting with other property needs such as plumbing, lamp replacement, and daily preventive maintenance. The role involves maintaining a clean and safe work environment, performing rounds, conducting routine assessments, and executing day‑to‑day preventive and corrective maintenance, painting, and housekeeping for assigned properties. The position operates in a professional office setting, using standard office equipment, and requires regular travel between properties in varying weather conditions. The painter may be the sole maintenance staff on duty, work extended shifts, and be on call for emergencies. • Verify field conditions and repair/paint walls and ceilings • Repair doors, ceilings, hand railings, floors and perform general adjustments • Repair plumbing fixtures such as toilets, urinals and lavatories • Inspect and maintain emergency exit signs, lights and clear stair access • Conduct fire and life safety inspections per NFPA, local codes and company standards • Document and report activities to supervisor • Respond immediately to emergencies and customer concerns • Follow all codes, regulations and company directives while practicing safe work habits • Adhere to C&W uniform dress code and maintain a neat appearance • Stoop, stand, climb and regularly lift at least 50 lb of equipment • Crouch, reach and bend to install or move equipment

What You Bring
• Complete required C&W safety training annually • Demonstrate technical proficiency, initiative, flexibility, multitasking and sense of urgency • High school diploma or GED required; apprenticeship or trade school preferred • Minimum 5 years of painting experience • Maintain appropriate trade license/permit as required • Hold a valid driver’s license with a good driving record • Basic computer skills in Outlook, Excel and Word • Communicate clearly and read written/oral instructions • Use vision to read drawings, schematics and printed material
