About the Role
In this position the mechanic will conduct both preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operation. Daily duties include diagnosing mechanical issues, performing timely repairs, inspecting and adjusting components, and maintaining accurate service records while adhering to all safety protocols. What You Bring
Candidates must possess a strong mechanical aptitude, be able to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and work instructions, and demonstrate a commitment to safety. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, climbing, and working in varying weather conditions, is required. Applicants will be required to complete a pre‑employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screening, and background check; certain positions may also involve FMCSA‑regulated testing. The work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, temperature extremes, humidity, and high noise levels. • Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read technical manuals and diagrams. • Work independently and as part of a team. • Complete pre‑employment physical, drug/alcohol screening, and background check; some roles require FMCSA‑regulated testing.
