About the Role

The Facilities Manager will be the single point of contact responsible for facilities management at an assigned site(s) in Chula Vista, CA, supporting the Regional Facilities Director and the JLL client account team. This role coordinates client requirements, vendor relationships and service delivery to ensure quality and satisfaction. The manager establishes open communication with site leadership, acting as the face of JLL, and ensures facility services follow standard processes, policies and regulatory requirements. They develop positive relationships with client stakeholders, inspect buildings regularly, support short‑ and long‑term projects, oversee capital and expense budgets, and implement innovative programs that lower operating costs. Vendor performance is monitored through KPIs, SLAs, contract compliance, and escalation resolution, while site key performance indicators and financial metrics are reported regularly. • Serve as single point of contact for facilities management at assigned site(s) in Chula Vista, CA. • Build trust with site leadership and act as the face of JLL through open communication. • Ensure compliance with local, state, federal regulations and portfolio-wide initiatives. • Maintain positive relationships with client stakeholders and serve as primary on‑site interface. • Conduct regular building inspections to uphold quality standards. • Support short‑ and long‑term projects, capital and expense budgets, and daily maintenance activities. • Develop and implement programs that reduce operating costs and increase productivity. • Coordinate vendor onboarding, monitor KPIs and SLAs, and ensure contract and invoice compliance. • Resolve vendor escalations promptly and create performance improvement action plans. • Track and report site KPIs, financial metrics, and other performance data on a regular basis. • Collaborate with regional and account leadership on additional duties as assigned.

What You Bring

Candidates need at least six years of experience in corporate, third‑party or consulting facilities management, strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, and proven organizational skills within matrixed environments. Excellent verbal and written communication, the ability to build repeatable processes, and proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, Excel and CMMS/Work Order systems are required. US citizenship is mandatory and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred. • Minimum six years of experience in corporate, third‑party, or consulting facilities management. • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and root‑cause analysis skills. • Proven ability to manage matrixed teams of technical and administrative staff. • Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, Excel, and CMMS/Work Order systems. • US citizenship required; must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
