About the Role

In this role you will create basic designs under senior guidance, perform equipment selections, and conduct load, energy, and pressure‑drop calculations, progressing from simple assignments to more complex projects while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. • Represent the firm and interact effectively with internal design teams, clients, and consultants. • Coordinate with architectural and engineering disciplines across internal and external teams. • Conduct field inspections to assess existing conditions and coordinate new work. • Assist senior engineers with due‑diligence, feasibility, gap analysis, and technical drawings using CAD/Revit. • Maintain master drawing organization formats and adhere to company standards. • Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of all work assignments. • Participate in continuing‑education seminars to enhance technical and professional skills.

What You Bring

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer III‑IV for our San Francisco, Sacramento, or San Diego offices. Successful candidates will have strong Revit and MEP skills, experience with construction documentation, and proficiency in trade‑specific design software such as energy analysis tools; a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, 3.5‑7+ years MEP experience, latest AutoCAD MEP/Revit, basic system selection knowledge, code familiarity, and FE certification are required. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution. • Bring 3.5‑7+ years of relevant MEP experience across aviation, healthcare, commercial, or mission‑critical projects. • Proficient with the latest versions of AutoCAD MEP and Revit. • Understand proper system selection and applicable codes. • Hold FE certification; experience in mission‑critical, science‑technology, and healthcare projects and interest in project management are preferred.
