About the Role

The Controls Application Manager role is a high‑visibility position overseeing electronics controls and telematics strategy for Carrier Transicold’s North American truck‑trailer‑APU portfolio. The manager defines and manages lifecycle activities, including portfolio planning, passport development, and sustaining efforts. • Develop and implement short- and long-term product strategy initiatives. • Collaborate with program management and marketing on new product introductions. • Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and sales to meet schedule, cost, and quality targets. • Engage industry partners for compatibility and provide VOC to business unit leadership. • Benchmark competitive solutions and deliver comparative analyses. • Work with marketing to create sales and promotional materials. • Craft and execute customer‑focused messages and campaigns. • Travel to customer and dealer sites to support high‑level presentations and product launches. • Prepare and deliver presentations for large audiences and media engagements. • Support Carrier’s sales force, field service engineers, and dealer network with applications and sales efforts.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree required. • 5+ years in embedded systems, telematics, or hardware/firmware design. • 2+ years in a front‑line business role such as sales, marketing, or applications. • Willingness to travel 20–25% across the US and Canada. • Proven leadership, strategic thinking, and project‑management skills. • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for media relations, presentations, and training.
