About the Role
The Signal Processing Engineer role supports the U.S. Army’s next‑generation radar programs at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. The position leverages state‑of‑the‑art digital engineering tools and collaborates with subject‑matter experts in radar, modeling & simulation, and software/hardware development. Working in a high‑visibility, fast‑paced laboratory environment, the engineer will coordinate technical requirements with internal and external partners, implement near‑real‑time DSP algorithms in C++/CUDA, and integrate solutions across MATLAB and System‑on‑Chip platforms. • Develop DSP, DBF, and I/Q processing algorithms in C++ or CUDA and integrate them into distributed simulation environments. • Implement near‑real‑time signal processing algorithms and coordinate with MATLAB and SoC (RFSOC) teams. • Analyze simulation gaps, propose courses of action, and communicate findings to leadership. • Prepare technical reports, conference papers, and test procedures for algorithm evaluation. • Manage code quality using version control, automated builds, and unit testing.

What You Bring
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (ABET‑accredited) and 3+ years of modern C++ implementation experience. • Maintain an active TS/SCI clearance and experience with CUDA programming and memory management. • Proficient with Git, Linux (Red Hat), and multithreaded/optimized C++ development. • Demonstrated ability to produce clear technical presentations for diverse audiences. • Preferred: 2+ years radar system experience, MATLAB and Python knowledge, Java unit testing, and public code repositories.
