About the Role
In this position you will install, maintain, and operate a variety of wired, wireless, fiber optic, and microwave telecommunications equipment, following MasTec’s health, safety, and environmental policies as well as industry standards such as OSHA and TIA‑10‑48. You will climb towers and ladders, erect different tower types, manage material off‑loading, prepare sites, and assist with complex installations using helicopters, cranes, and gin poles. • Install, maintain, and operate wired, wireless, fiber optic, and microwave telecom equipment. • Follow MasTec Health Safety and Environmental Policies and industry standards (OSHA, TIA-10-48, NATE CTS, ANSI). • Climb towers and ladders, erect various tower types, and assist with helicopter, crane, and gin‑pole installations. • Off‑load material, manage inventory, and prepare/clean job sites. • Install carriers on new and existing towers and assemble monopole, weld, knock‑down, and guyed towers. • Install microwave, VHF, UHF, cellular, and FM broadcast antennas. • Install transmission lines (coaxial, hardline, waveguide) and complete foundations, grounding, and conduit work. • Mentor less‑experienced technicians and perform other assigned duties.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least four years of tower experience, and the ability to read and interpret technical prints while adhering to safety regulations.
