About the Role
In this role you will join the production team at the Hesston, KS facility, operating manual electrostatic guns, monitoring automatic equipment, inspecting finished parts, and preparing items for recoating. You will also handle plugs, caps, and water removal from the pre‑treatment system while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. • Operate manual electrostatic guns to apply powder (≈35%). • Monitor and maintain automatic guns, powder pick‑up/reclaim system, conveyor line, cure ovens and pre‑treatment system (≈20%). • Inspect parts for quality compliance and perform liquid touch‑up as needed (≈20%). • Apply and remove plugs/caps to protect unpainted areas and blow off water from the pre‑treatment system (≈15%). • Prepare parts for powder recoat by sanding surfaces (≈10%). • Comply with safety standards, including full‑body Tivex suits and air‑purifying respirator. • Escalate technical issues promptly and follow standard work instructions.
