About the Role

The Maintenance Technician supports property maintenance—including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic work—and assists with make‑ready processes under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. • Attend the community daily and respond promptly to resident and management work orders for common areas, buildings, and units. • Perform corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance, including swimming‑pool care and chemical logging. • Execute make‑ready tasks, schedule and complete turn events, and assist with unit inspections. • Maintain a clean and safe exterior, grounds, breezeways, and common areas; identify and correct hazardous conditions. • Uphold Asset Living policies, OSHA/EPA standards, and the hazard‑communication program; keep the maintenance shop organized and stocked. • Record service requests, maintenance activities, make‑ready status, and compliance documentation accurately. • Provide excellent customer service, monitor request turnaround, and enforce community policies consistently. • Participate in on‑call emergency response and additional tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager.

What You Bring

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA regulations. • Physical ability to lift/move 100+ lb objects, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and perform overtime, weekend, and night on‑call duties. • Must have reliable transportation for emergency on‑call responsibilities.

Benefits
