About the Role
The JD Finance Specialist – Contract to Billing role focuses on supporting high‑volume project and contract set‑up, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, and maintaining timely month‑end and year‑end closings. You will collaborate with local market teams, corporate controllership, project managers and sales leads to manage reporting, mailbox queries, and audit support while adhering to service delivery KPIs. • Assist with high‑volume project and contract setup. • Ensure contracts are properly configured for accurate revenue recognition. • Coordinate with local market teams to reflect contract updates promptly. • Work with corporate controllership for contract approval and revenue recognition. • Complete timely and accurate month‑end and year‑end closings. • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to stakeholders. • Manage mailbox for request and query handling. • Deliver services in line with agreed KPIs. • Update SOPs to capture processing exceptions as needed. • Support internal and external audits. • Execute process‑improvement initiatives, system implementations, and ad‑hoc projects. • Reclassify timecards to ensure accurate billable and non‑billable reporting. • Support project managers, delivery leads and sales leads on new and renewal agreements. • Produce monthly billing reports, review with clients and obtain pre‑approvals. • Set up, invoice, report and recognize deferred revenue for prebilled deliverables. • Create monthly revenue accruals to align with forecast. • Manage third‑party/vendor billings, month‑end cost accruals and invoice coding/approvals. • Perform accrual vs. invoice variance analysis and collaborate with controllership on contract approvals. • Interact effectively with internal and external client teams daily.

What You Bring
Successful candidates will have a degree in accounting or a related professional qualification, 5‑8 years of corporate accounting experience, and be comfortable working a US‑based night shift. Strong attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication, and advanced Excel skills are required, with Salesforce, PeopleSoft or real‑estate exposure considered a plus. • Invoice accurately via email or client portals according to client requirements. • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and strong written/oral communication. • Exhibit strong organizational and analytical skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (vlookups, pivot tables). • Prior experience with Salesforce, PeopleSoft, or real‑estate platforms is a plus. • Self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced, customer‑service environment. • Professional and assertive when working with operational and sales teams to meet approval deadlines and maintain audit‑friendly documentation. • Hold a degree in Accounting or a relevant professional qualification. • Comfortable working the US night shift (5:30 pm – 2:30 am). • Possess 5–8 years of corporate accounting experience. • Ability to multi‑task in a dynamic, fast‑paced setting.
