About the Role

The clerk will verify shipment documentation, keep accurate records, and prepare items for dispatch while maintaining stockroom inventory. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, moving material between storage locations and docks, and using RF scanning equipment for inventory moves and cycle counts. The employee must follow ERP, quality, safety, and environmental procedures and promote compliance with Rolls‑Royce’s Code of Conduct. • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading, packing slips, and invoices. • Record shipment information in the computer system. • Prepare and pack items for shipment. • Load and unload trucks and move material between storage locations and docks. • Operate forklift, overhead crane, and other material‑handling equipment. • Use radio‑frequency (RF) scanners for material moves, inventory cycle counts, and replenishment. • Supply material to assembly lines per company requirements. • Unpack, examine, and route incoming shipments. • Report defective materials to appropriate personnel. • Follow ERP, quality, safety, and environmental procedures. • Promote compliance with the Rolls‑Royce Code of Conduct.

What You Bring

Candidates must be able to operate a forklift, overhead crane, and other material‑handling equipment, and obtain any required power‑vehicle licenses. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of shipping and receiving experience, and basic reading, writing, math and computer skills. Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication abilities and the capacity to multitask in time‑sensitive processes are also essential. • Hold a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of relevant experience. • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Demonstrate basic PC, reading, writing, and math proficiency. • Ability to multitask in time‑sensitive processes. • Obtain appropriate power‑vehicle licenses (CDL, flatbed, Hi‑Lo, tugger, mule) when required.
