About the Role
The position summary emphasizes responsibility for month‑end and year‑end close processes, maintaining general ledger integrity, preparing variance analysis, assisting with audits and tax filings, and collaborating across the organization to ensure accurate financial records while driving process improvements. • Lead month‑end and year‑end close, including journal entries, allocations, taxes, accruals, and reconciliations. • Maintain general ledger integrity and resolve discrepancies. • Prepare variance analyses to support FP&A and leadership reporting. • Assist with annual external audits and tax filings by preparing schedules and providing information. • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accuracy of financial records. • Drive process improvements and efficiency gains in accounting areas. • Prepare and maintain monthly financial statements for joint‑venture entities per GAAP. • Lead or support ad‑hoc projects such as tax compliance and system implementations. • Work for a leading nationwide electrical contracting organization.

What You Bring
• Minimum 2 years of audit experience (construction experience preferred). • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business. • CPA certification required. • Advanced Excel skills. • Strong understanding of US GAAP. • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality work. • Excellent communication and organizational abilities, with cross‑functional teamwork.
