About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck and delivering prompt, courteous waste removal services to customers. The role includes ensuring the vehicle meets the company’s safety standards before each shift and adhering to all company, state, and federal regulations while on the road. Drivers also complete daily vehicle condition reports to capture and address any defects promptly. Key duties involve conducting comprehensive pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, loading and compacting refuse, transporting it to the designated disposal site, and maintaining accurate route and productivity records. Drivers interact professionally with customers, dispatchers, and supervisors, identify and tag unsatisfactory containers, and clean any accidental spills following safety protocols. Ongoing vehicle monitoring and cleaning are required to minimize downtime and keep the truck operationally ready. • Perform pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and complete daily vehicle condition reports (VCRs) • Safely operate a collection truck along assigned routes, lift and load refuse, operate the compactor, and dispose material at the designated facility • Read route sheets, follow maps, and service each customer as assigned, providing courteous customer interactions • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers and monitor waste for prohibited items • Clean accidental spills and maintain vehicle cleanliness, including packer blade and truck body, to minimize downtime • Complete required route productivity sheets, VCRs, and other reports accurately and on time • Adhere to all safety policies, participate in the ReSOP safety program, and follow company, state, and federal regulations

What You Bring
Applicants must hold a Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement. The position offers an hourly rate of $23‑$28, a $5,000 retention bonus, weekly overtime, and a full benefits package.
