About the Role
The incumbent will serve on the Kings Mountain Senior Leadership team, contributing to strategy, direction, and continuous improvement. They will own key performance metrics including OTD, Days on Hand, Inventory Accuracy, Excess and Obsolescence, Employee Engagement, and Safety. The role oversees the plant’s SIOP process, ensuring cross‑functional participation, master scheduling, and optimal inventory and staffing levels to meet customer satisfaction. It provides leadership for inventory management, cycle‑count governance, and the ERP system to maintain data integrity, accurate BOM structures, and transaction accuracy. The position also manages receiving, material handling, warehouse, shipping, and logistics activities, driving cost‑out initiatives, trade compliance, and a Zero Incident safety culture. Continuous improvement, departmental prioritization, and talent development are integral parts of the job. • Own and improve OTD, Days on Hand, inventory accuracy, excess/obsolescence, employee engagement, and safety metrics. • Lead the plant’s SIOP process, coordinating master scheduling and optimal inventory/staffing levels. • Direct inventory management, cycle counts, physical inventory, and ERP data integrity (BOM, routings, transactions). • Oversee receiving, material handling, warehouse, shipping, and logistics to ensure efficiency, cost reduction, and trade compliance. • Drive cost‑out initiatives, reduce cost of non‑conformance, and manage departmental budget. • Champion EHS procedures and a Zero Incident culture across the plant. • Initiate and lead continuous‑improvement projects and cross‑functional coordination. • Develop, coach, and grow team talent for strong performance and future readiness.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Engineering and have at least five years of hands‑on materials and operations management experience in a high‑volume environment. Preferred qualifications include APICS CPIM certification, ERP expertise (preferably Oracle), and strong leadership, communication, and lean continuous‑improvement skills. • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Engineering; 5+ years materials/operations management in high‑volume setting. • APICS CPIM certification and ERP experience (preferably Oracle) preferred. • Strong technical knowledge of forecasting, bill‑of‑materials structuring, scheduling, and plant manufacturing processes. • Proven leadership, communication, and lean continuous‑improvement capabilities.
