About the Role

• Interact with guests to resolve maintenance issues and ensure satisfaction. • Troubleshoot and repair basic appliances and air‑conditioning controls. • Perform drywall, painting, staining, and wall‑vinyl repairs. • Repair plumbing fixtures, clean drains, replace filters, and address faulty components. • Replace caulk, tile, grout, and repair doors, hinges, and locking mechanisms. • Inspect rooms for pest intrusion and replace cosmetic appliance parts. • Replace light bulbs, ballasts, and remote‑control batteries. • Repair closet and drapery tracks, stain furniture, and mend gouges. • Unclog toilets and sinks, touch‑up paint, and glue peeling wallpaper. • Execute scheduled preventative maintenance and maintain equipment logs. • Communicate clearly with engineering leadership and assist on special projects. • Maintain detailed records in English for logs and inspection sheets. • Support coworkers by pitching in on duties and promoting teamwork.

What You Bring

The Maintenance Tech II is responsible for keeping guestrooms, public spaces, and back‑of‑the‑house areas in excellent repair, with a primary focus on guest relations and problem resolution. The role involves a broad range of skills, including painting, drywall work, appliance troubleshooting, plumbing repairs, and preventative maintenance. Clear communication with engineering leadership, assistance on special projects, and detailed record keeping in English are also essential components of the position. Candidates must possess a team‑first attitude, effective verbal and written communication in English, and the physical ability to climb ladders up to 40 feet, lift or carry up to 50 lb, and push/pull up to 100 lb. Minimum qualifications include two years of facilities maintenance experience and a high school diploma or GED, with three to five years of related experience and a valid driver’s license considered advantageous.
