Temporary Cleaner

About the Role

Daily responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, and washing floors and other interior surfaces, operating commercial floor buffers and shampoo machines, vacuuming rugs, spot‑cleaning and shampooing rugs as directed, and dusting furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and other horizontal surfaces. The cleaner also washes interior window sills, glass on doors, partitions, and specified windows, spot‑cleans interior walls, and maintains bathrooms by restocking supplies, cleaning fixtures, and monitoring for defects. Additional tasks involve collecting and disposing of building trash, replacing liners, and, when required, sweeping or shoveling snow from entrances and walkways. Periodic work may include high‑dusting, polishing leather and wood surfaces, and wall washing. The role may also include any other duties assigned by supervision. • Sweep, mop, and wash interior floors and surfaces using commercial buffers and shampoo machines. • Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; spot‑clean and shampoo rugs as directed. • Dust furniture, exhibit cases, picture frames, chairs, door trim, and light fixtures; perform periodic high‑dusting. • Clean interior windows, glass doors, partitions, and wash interior walls and window sills. • Maintain bathrooms: restock supplies, clean fixtures, wipe glass, empty waste baskets, and monitor for defects. • Collect building trash daily, replace liners, and dispose of waste in approved containers. • Sweep or shovel snow from building entrances and walkways as needed. • Perform periodic polishing of leather and wood surfaces and wall washing. • Operate a portable backpack‑style vacuum and other cleaning equipment safely. • Deliver detailed, high‑energy cleaning service with strong attention to detail.

What You Bring

The position requires no prior cleaning experience but demands the ability to follow directions, work with minimal supervision, and cooperate as part of a team.
