About the Role
The operator will run a variety of earth‑moving equipment—such as bobcats, bulldozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, rollers, and graders—to move earth precisely, inspect equipment, follow safety protocols, and respond to signalers. They will assess the work area for hazards, plan operations, and assist with other site tasks when not operating equipment. • Operate diverse earth‑moving equipment (bobcats, bulldozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, rollers, graders) • Conduct equipment inspections and complete related paperwork • Follow all safety regulations and respond to signalers during operations • Assess work areas for hazards and plan equipment use • Assist with additional site tasks when not operating equipment

What You Bring
The Dirt Equipment Operator role requires at least two years of heavy‑industrial construction experience, the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities, and the ability to meet all physical requirements. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the required tools. The position does not have any direct reports. • Minimum 2 + years experience in heavy industrial construction as a dirt equipment operator • Possess basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with soil types and excavation specifications • Hold a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and required tools • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lb, work at heights, and perform duties in all weather conditions • Preferred: current or former Zachry employee/ROF status
