About the Role
The Value Stream Manager will lead a high‑performance team and coordinate production activities and resources according to established practices and policies, ensuring timely delivery of quality parts that meet or exceed customer expectations. The manager also ensures adherence to policies while optimizing resource utilization. Key responsibilities include promoting a safe work environment, tracking operational metrics and developing improvement plans, partnering with supply chain to align demand forecasts with capacity, increasing employee engagement, developing staffing strategies, and holding dotted‑line reports accountable through tier‑2 meetings and daily tracking. • Implement and enforce safety protocols, accident prevention, and equipment maintenance. • Track key operational metrics and create action plans to boost performance. • Align demand forecasts with capacity plans in partnership with supply chain. • Drive employee engagement and accountability to build a high‑performing culture. • Develop and maintain the departmental staffing strategy. • Hold dotted‑line reports accountable through tier‑2 meetings and daily tracking.

What You Bring
The role requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, at least three years of manufacturing or operations experience, one year of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing setting, and hands‑on machining experience. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship and must qualify as a U.S. person under ITAR. Preferred qualifications include a B.S. in Business, Manufacturing, or Engineering, experience leading cross‑functional teams, proficiency with Lean manufacturing tools, and knowledge of quality control systems such as QS‑9000, ISO‑9001, ISO‑14001, and AS‑9100. Experience with these quality systems is also valued. • Possess a bachelor's degree and 3+ years of manufacturing/operations experience. • Have 1+ year of supervisory/management experience in a manufacturing or machining environment. • Be eligible to work in the U.S. without corporate sponsorship and meet ITAR U.S. person criteria. • Demonstrate Lean manufacturing expertise and knowledge of quality systems (QS‑9000, ISO‑9001, ISO‑14001, AS‑9100).
