About the Role
The technician reviews sales contracts and spec sheets, prepares accurate purchase orders, and enters orders into Acumatica while keeping job files audit‑ready. They process work order changes, coordinate with vendors, and collaborate with sales, production, and management to maintain clear communication and meet productivity and quality goals. • Review sales contracts and spec sheets for material, charge, and scope accuracy. • Identify missing information or product errors and collaborate with pre‑site techs and managers to resolve them quickly. • Prepare and submit product orders to vendors, ensuring correct pricing and purchase orders. • Enter sales orders into Acumatica, generate purchase orders, and maintain audit‑ready job files. • Process Work Order Changes promptly and distribute updates to production teams. • Coordinate with vendors to track materials, confirm costs, and resolve delivery issues. • Partner with sales, production, and management to maintain clear communication. • Meet department productivity and quality goals while keeping detailed records. • Handle return‑to‑vendor requests and other assigned procurement duties.

What You Bring
Ideal candidates have experience in residential remodeling, construction, or procurement, are proficient with Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, and can quickly learn Salesforce and Acumatica. They demonstrate strong attention to detail, time‑management, excellent communication skills, and an energetic, calm demeanor under pressure, with a high school diploma (college coursework a plus). The role involves occasional lifting of 50 lb or more, and requires the ability to sit, stand, reach, and use hands and arms while possessing visual acuity for detailed work. It is performed in an in‑office setting with a business‑casual dress code and a Monday‑Friday schedule. • Prior experience in residential remodeling, construction, or procurement preferred. • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat; able to learn Salesforce and Acumatica. • Strong attention to detail, time‑management, and ability to manage multiple projects. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • High school diploma required; college coursework a plus. • Must pass a criminal background check. • Ability to lift/move 50+ lb occasionally; sit, stand, reach, and use hands/arms; visual acuity for detail work.
