About the Role
As a Machine Operator you will operate and perform basic set‑ups on a variety of metal‑fabricating machines, such as Brake Press, Turret, Hairpin, Fin Press, and Expander, to produce high‑quality air‑conditioning units. You will fabricate, cut, shape, drill, and form metal workpieces to precise specifications while maintaining continuous production in both hard‑tool and lights‑out areas. You will read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and shop orders to determine machine setup, production methods, and material requirements. Safety is a core responsibility; you must follow JSA, PPE, 5S, and all facility safety regulations, keep your work area clean, and report any defective materials or questionable conditions. • Operate and set up metal‑fabricating machines (Brake Press, Turret, Hairpin, Fin Press, Expander) with minimal supervision. • Fabricate, cut, bend, drill, and form metal workpieces to blueprint specifications. • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and shop orders to determine setup and material needs. • Perform first‑article inspections and report defective materials to supervisors. • Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow JSA, PPE, 5S, and other safety regulations. • Communicate effectively with coworkers, coordinators, and management, reporting safety or quality issues. • Conduct basic preventative maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot production problems. • Use Microsoft Office and ERP systems to track production data and inventory. • Work overtime or shift changes as needed to support production.

What You Bring
Teamwork and communication are essential; you will work with other departments, shifts, and management to exceed customer expectations and report problems to the Department Supervisor. Continuous improvement is expected, including time management, troubleshooting, data collection, and basic preventative maintenance of equipment. The role requires a high school diploma/GED or a craft apprenticeship, plus at least two years of relevant experience. Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret technical documents in English are required, along with basic computer skills in Microsoft Office and ERP systems. The position involves physical demands such as standing on concrete, lifting up to 50 lb, working in noisy, dusty, non‑climate‑controlled environments, and occasionally working at heights or in confined spaces. Benefits
The position is located in Largo, FL and is a full‑time, second‑shift role (Monday‑Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM). Compensation includes $18.18 per hour plus a $1.50 hourly shift differential, benefits, and overtime opportunities.
