About the Role
• Foster a safe, positive, and productive work environment while removing obstacles for the team. • Model the “Base Pace” by working efficiently and emphasizing safety and respect. • Serve as the primary communication link between the production floor and management. • Ensure all products meet quality specifications and reinforce the importance of quality. • Lead root‑cause investigations (e.g., “5 Whys”) to prevent recurring defects. • Champion 5S practices to maintain a clean and organized workspace. • Monitor line performance, identify bottlenecks, and reallocate resources to meet production targets. • Partner with leadership to execute the production ramp plan and integrate new processes. • Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives using Lean principles to reduce cycle time and waste. • Oversee onboarding, training, and certification of new Production Associates. • Conduct safety audits and Job Hazard Analyses in collaboration with EHS. • Manage daily administrative tasks such as time‑card approvals, scheduling, and resource planning.

What You Bring
Base seeks an experienced Production Supervisor to lead its growing manufacturing team and shape the culture on the production floor. As one of the first supervisors, the role focuses on people‑first leadership, quality, safety, and scaling output to meet ambitious growth targets. The supervisor will guide Production Associates, collaborate with engineering and warehouse teams, and help execute the company’s production ramp plan. • Minimum 3 years of production supervision experience in manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse settings. • Proven ability to scale production lines or thrive in high‑growth environments. • Strong people skills to build culture, motivate teams, and provide mentorship. • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and bottleneck identification techniques. • Adaptable to startup dynamics, including flexible hours and weekend work when needed.
