Reliability Engineer I

About the Role

• Supports root cause analysis and resolution of issues found during testing and on returned products from the field. • Conducts production reliability tests and methodologies to anticipate failures. • Reviews code and engineering standards • Collaborates with the engineering team and seek opportunities to develop new/improve existing durability test methodology to enhance product development efficiency • Evaluates product performance, history, and failure trends to determine sources of poor component performance. • Conducts reliability analysis and works with the Reliability team to ensure the products designed can meet reliability specifications. • Determines reliability requirements of components and systems to achieve company, customer, and any governmental agency reliability objectives under the supervision of a senior Reliability Engineer. • Assist in completion of product qualification test plans, including functional, reliability, and durability testing.

What You Bring

• Communicates effectively in written and spoken form • 1-2 years in the HVAC industry or equivalent experience in a similar industry. • Office with periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure. • Strong interpersonal skills • Demonstrates excellent multitasking and organizational skills • Exhibits good decision making and analytical problem-solving abilities • Works effectively as a team member in a fast-paced environment. • Four-year ABET accredited degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree in Applied Sciences.
