About the Role
This position leads a team of data architects and data governance professionals tasked with developing and maintaining data models, data catalogs, and related standards to ensure data is standardized, consistent, and properly cataloged. The role oversees data model development and governance, collaborates with technical staff and business stewards to design and catalog master data, and provides oversight of guiding principles, policies, best practices, and standards. This employer will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position (e.g., H‑1B, F‑1/CPT/OPT, O‑1, E‑3, TN, J, etc.). • Oversee development of data models and the data catalog • Ensure data standardization, consistency, and assign business stewards for catalog elements • Plan resources for projects, including PMO, IT, and team initiatives • Provide daily supervision and technical direction to the team • Develop data architecture and data governance strategy and roadmaps

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent • 5+ years experience with relational databases such as Oracle and Postgres • 2+ years experience in data/information architecture • Familiarity with data governance programs • 3+ years experience supervising technical staff • Proven success managing large or complex projects • Ability to provide technical leadership and supervise personnel • Proficiency in data classification (desired) • Experience developing and maintaining standards and best practices (desired)
